Detailed notes for every StaticOps release: added features, corrected behaviour and remaining known limitations. Discord announcements stay intentionally short; this page is the complete reference.
9 documented releases0.5.2
Release history
Releases are listed from newest to oldest. A normal installer update preserves existing local data.
Current release
StaticOps v0.5.2
The night's replays can be viewed in a browser from the Discord recap.
Shared replays
A link to all available pulls, the same rendering as StaticOps, on-demand loading of the selected pull and direct links to a combat timestamp.
The author needs a cloud account; visitors do not. Replays remain available for 90 days, even while the author’s PC is off.
Publication and sharing controls
The link accompanies each confirmed recap publication. Anyone with the link can view it; the author can disable it in StaticOps.
Retrying preserves the link and updates the same Discord message. Incomplete uploads and unavailable pulls are identified.
Raw logs and the personal database stay on the PC. Role mentions preserve the link in the message.
Known limitations
Precision depends on recorded data. Pulls without usable positions are unavailable.
Limits: 32 MiB compressed per pull and 256 MiB per night. Downloaded copies remain accessible after disabling the link.
This Windows distribution remains an unsigned beta.
This beta improves combat readability, replay backgrounds and the first-use experience.
Home and navigation
an animated observatory, Home, My fights and Settings as the primary destinations, and analysis pages in an expandable menu. A getting-started guide explains sessions and attempts.
Readability
analysis tabs, expandable advanced filters, remembered player selection, and French and English translations. Missing measurements no longer create artificial comparisons against zero.
Window
resizing down to 800 × 600, a compact toolbar, and adaptable startup and update screens. The right-click context menu is disabled; keyboard copy and paste remain available.
Animation
a local scene loaded on demand, capped at 30 fps and paused during combat or while the window is inactive. Static mode and the Windows reduced-motion preference are supported.
Replay maps
a bundled index of 1,164 maps across 1,081 territories, with available images downloaded and cached. An additional catalogue provides 55 detailed floor layers across 26 map IDs; observed map changes are timestamped in the replay.
Limit Break and waymarks
the LB gauge is displayed when documented by ACT or FF Logs events, and ground markers when present in ACT logs.
Actors and area effects
improved enemy-instance and pet identification, retention of more FF Logs events, and position, charge and impact corrections for supported actions.
Performance
optimized track and area-effect reconstruction, and compressed replay responses.
Data upgrade
The local database is migrated to schema 37. The migration mechanism preserves historical data and creates a backup before migration in the normal application startup path.
Known limitations
The index covers game maps, not detailed floors for every boss. Images are downloaded on demand and depend on remote availability. Personal floor and action exports remain optional and are not included in the public installer.
AoEs are analytical reconstructions; not every mechanic is covered. Missing source information is not invented, so LB and waymarks may be unavailable.
On P12S, if the Gaiaochos completion event is missing after the main floor was established, the transition to the small arena may remain absent.
This Windows distribution remains an unsigned beta under the existing release channel.
Release
StaticOps v0.5.0
StaticOps introduces a tactical pull replay, improves ACT position recovery and makes movement, deaths, phases and supported area effects easier to inspect.
Tactical replay
An integrated player displays actors documented in the logs, with adjustable playback speed, seeking, zoom and a group view.
Recent trails, available facing directions, timestamped HP and actor selection help you follow movement.
Previous/next controls and a death or phase selector pause playback at the chosen event; selecting a death also selects the affected player.
The player reports missing positions, old observations and the age of the selected actor’s latest observation.
Positions and ACT logs
Current, rotated and FF Logs uploader archives are read together and deduplicated, including while ACT is writing.
Movement packets 270 and relocation packets 271 are included. Additional observations fill gaps in the network track without mixing sources in intervals already covered.
Incomplete memory data no longer creates an artificial position at the centre. Deaths, respawns and instant relocations interrupt trails.
Named UCOB dragons share a consistent identity across French and English logs, preventing duplicate enemies and area effects.
Area effects
The replay reconstructs supported action footprints from ACT snapshots, action metadata and selected geometry definitions, including several UCOB mechanics.
Final-footprint previews and impact flashes are visually distinct; an impact-only filter, opacity control and zone selection make them easier to inspect.
Missing facing, position or geometry leaves the zone absent. The player reports available coverage without inventing missing information.
Home and website
The application opens on a dedicated home page with readiness checks and analysis shortcuts; desktop navigation changes pages without reloading the entire interface.
The website includes a sample pull, clearer Windows requirements and the documented release, with mobile navigation and more explicit help links.
Usage measurement
When usage measurement is enabled, counters are checked every fifteen minutes; unchanged batches are not sent again.
The administrator dashboard can request an immediate upload before refreshing. Disabling measurement and requesting deletion remain available in Settings.
Known limitations
Paths between observations remain interpolated: a data gap cannot establish exact movement. Replays require local logs containing observations for the encounter.
Displayed zones are reconstructed analysis overlays, not recorded in-game telegraphs. Coverage depends on the mechanic and available data; unknown geometry or persistent durations remain absent. An empty area is not evidence that it is safe.
This release does not guarantee coverage of every mechanic or exhaustive parity with the FF Logs replay.
Release
StaticOps v0.4.2
StaticOps improves its desktop interface, makes the update flow more reliable and adds a private dashboard for anonymous product usage.
Private administration
An aggregate usage dashboard appears on the Account page only for the owner authenticated through Discord.
Identity is verified by Supabase on the server; other accounts receive no usage data.
Indicators cover active installations, active versions and major feature usage over 7, 30, 90 or 365 days.
Desktop application
The top bar now uses consistent icons and labels for refresh, browser access, updates, Discord and window controls.
The redundant “Observatory ready” status is removed and direct access to the Discord server is added.
The side rail cleanly displays language, time, date and the installed version.
Updates
A version check runs automatically at startup.
The download clearly exposes its stages, can be cancelled and provides access to logs when it fails.
The installer now asks Windows to close running executables before replacing them.
Known limitations
The administrator dashboard requires signing in with the owner Discord account.
Statistics depend on usage-measurement consent and may arrive with the daily upload delay.
Release
StaticOps v0.4.1
StaticOps consolidates its proprietary distribution, introduces privacy-conscious usage measurement and speeds up FF Logs history recovery.
Privacy and product
Version 0.4.0 and later are distributed under a proprietary licence; earlier releases retain the licence under which they were published.
After an information notice, the application may count active installations and broad feature categories without sending logs, player names, encounters, FF Logs URLs, webhooks or local paths.
Usage measurement can be disabled in Settings; disabling removes the local identifier and requests deletion of its remote measurements.
FF Logs synchronization
Historical pull recovery processes more items per cycle and resumes sooner while an eligible backlog remains.
Status now distinguishes current pulls, pulls without an available FF Logs report and pulls requiring review, preventing synchronization from appearing endless.
Website and distribution
A bilingual page now collects the detailed notes for every update.
Discord announcements link to this page while downloads continue to be served through staticops.dev.
Known limitations
Detailed FF Logs analysis still depends on accessible public reports.
Usage measurement requires the remote service configured in the official distribution to be available.
Release
StaticOps v0.3.14
Public distribution is now separated from the development repository, keeping the installer and automatic updates available without publishing the source code.
Distribution
The Windows installer is now published in the public StaticOps-releases repository.
Automatic update checks use the new distribution source.
The direct website link still downloads StaticOps-Setup.exe only.
Continuity
No raid-night or pull migration is required.
Existing settings, linked reports and local data are preserved.
Known limitations
This release primarily changes the publishing pipeline and does not add a new combat analysis.
Release
StaticOps v0.3.13
Rotation comparison becomes a chronological, phase-by-phase reading with an automatic or manually selected FF Logs reference.
Rotation comparison
Analysis lanes display the main rotation, potions, mitigation and utility actions.
Comparison can be limited to the same phase so unrelated portions of a fight are not placed side by side.
A public FF Logs report and fight can be selected manually as the reference.
Prepull actions, phase changes and complete actions exposed by FF Logs are displayed.
Navigation
Zoom, horizontal movement and time-range selection stay synchronized between your run and the reference.
Icons are recalculated after every phase or zoom change so they remain aligned with time.
Languages
French and English labels are complete throughout the comparison.
Known limitations
Precision depends on the events and phases exposed by the selected FF Logs report.
Runs with very different durations should be compared phase by phase.
Release
StaticOps v0.3.12
The interface gains clarity and control through collapsible sections, session folders, zoomable timelines and safer Discord publishing.
Organisation
Custom folders can group roster, Party Finder or training sessions freely.
Large analysis sections can be collapsed and stay unobtrusive until opened.
Charts
Synchronized zoom was added to the rotation timeline.
Phase progress bars now represent actual advancement to the next phase.
Discord
Explicit confirmation is required before publishing any recap.
The pull selection remains visible before sending to prevent accidental full-night reports.
Release
StaticOps v0.3.11
Combat charts and resource analysis are expanded with stronger controls and the first public-run rotation comparison.
HP, MP and DPS
HP and MP charts are more compact and show available healing or recovery sources.
Enemies, pets and other entities are excluded from HP and MP selectors.
The DPS chart distinguishes periods when the boss cannot be targeted.
Free zoom, movement and direct range selection are available.
Progression
Phases are displayed in the Discord progression chart.
Pull progression was simplified to remain readable on mobile.
Application
Updates are checked on every launch.
The job analysis can search for comparable public FF Logs runs.
